The waterfowl hunting in the Downs area can be as good as it gets. All hunts are booked in conjunction with pheasant hunts, with availability based upon migration. Hunts takes place over decoys in water for ducks, and field decoy shooting for geese. Your dogs are welcome as an alternative.
Season:
Late October through late January in the Kansas Late Zone.
License Requirements:
- State hunting license
- State waterfowl stamp
- Federal waterfowl stamp
- State Harvest Information Program (HIP) stamp
Rates:
Waterfowl hunt: $100 per afternoon, additional to your pheasant hunt
Jump shoot: $25 per afternoon, additional your pheasant hunt
Deposit: $150 per person is covered by your pheasant hunt deposit
